Warrill View State School was established in 1910 and the original school is now part of the administration and library complex. Our distinctive curriculum includes small multi-age classrooms in P to 3 and 4 to 7 with additional teaching staff provided in the P to 3 classrooms to assist with early start.

We offer a learning assistance specialist (two days per week) and a music specialist who conducts school choir and tuition in both guitar and recorder. Our physical education specialist has two weekly classes and oversees our school wide participation in local and district athletics, cross country and district sport gala days. We also have an intensive swimming programme for the whole school, weekly tennis lessons and school clubs which can include cooking, gardening, photography and scrapbooking.

In years 4 to 7 students participate in learning a language other than English (French). As well, all students learn to use Auslan (Australian sign language) as an extra ‘language’ which assists in communication with a hearing impaired student and deaf teacher aide.

Warrill View State School offers a school leadership program for years 5 to 7 students as well as participation in district mathematical, science and speaking competitions.

Information and communication technologies are used daily to assist learning. Students participate in live iconnect and elearn sessions and the school has a ratio of one laptop, desk top computer or mobile device per student.

The school subscribes to Reading Eggs and Mathletics and uses Spelling City and Study Ladder to engage students and enhance learning opportunities.
